The deputy chairman of the board of Yemen Red Sea Ports Corporation, Mr. Nasr Abdullah Al-nusairi, together with the general managers of the Office of the chairman Office Mr. Ali al-Ansi, Human resources Mohammed Al-saafani, technical affairs Fahd Al-jubabi, security and safety Bandar Shara, Maritime Operations Mohammed Al-sais, Berths and squares Jaber Kaleb, visited on, Friday, Shawwal 1, 1447 AH, corresponding to March 20, 2026, employees and shift workers at Hodeida port during the Eid al-Fitr holiday.

Al-nusairi and his entourage exchanged congratulations and blessings with those stationed at the Berths, squares and technical and professional sectors on this great religious occasion, and presented them with holiday gifts, conveying greetings and congratulations to the revolutionary leadership and the Supreme Political Council.

The vice chairman of the port praised the high morale of those attending in the trenches of the port of Hodeida, who chose to remain in their positions of responsibility during the Eid days to ensure the continued provision of navigation and logistics services to the Yemeni people.

Al-nusairi stressed that the steadfastness of the port's cadres and workers under the current circumstances embodies the highest images of loyalty and national responsibility, pointing out that the port of Hodeida will remain the first lifeline for Yemenis through the efforts of these loyal people.

In turn, employees and workers expressed their appreciation for this visit and shared the joys of the holiday in the fields of work, stressing their pride in doing their duty to serve the fatherland and the continued flow of goods and basic needs.

They were accompanied during the visit by a number of department managers and specialists of the port.

Under the sponsorship of Yemen Red Sea Ports Corporation, represented by the chairman of the board, Engineer Zaid Ahmed Taha al-wushli, and his deputy, Mr. Nasr Abdullah Al-nusairi, and the youth and sports office in Hodeida governorate, the championship of the martyr Captain Abdullah Shara and the martyrs of the ports in its second edition for the year 1447h/ 2026g was concluded on, Tuesday, 28 Ramadan 1447h, corresponding to march in the city of Hodeida.

The crowning of the Al-Masirah youth team came after it defeated its rival Al-Majd team, after the original time of the match ended in a negative draw, in the tournament organized by Yemen Red Sea Ports Corporation under the supervision of the youth and sports office in the governorate, with the participation of 48 sports teams whose competitions continued throughout the month of Ramadan.

At the end of the match, the deputy chairman of the board of Yemen Red Sea Ports Corporation, Mr. Nasr al-Nasiri, the director of the youth and sports office in the governorate, Emad al-Burai, and the director of the Office of the chairman of the board of Directors of the Corporation, Ali al-Ansi, honored the Al-Masirah youth team with the first place Cup and gold medals, and the Glory team with the second place Cup and silver medals.

The outstanding players were also honored with individual awards, where the player Marwan Al-Ramadi received the league's top scorer award, the player Essam Mohammed the best player award, and the goalkeeper Wael gharsan the best goalkeeper award in the tournament.

The ceremony witnessed the honoring of the leadership of Yemen Red Sea Ports Corporation with a certificate of appreciation provided by the management of Al-Majd coastal club, in recognition of their tangible role and generous support for sports and youth activity in the governorate.

During the honoring ceremony, Al-nusairi and Al-Burai praised the level of organization, football performance and high sports spirit that prevailed in the competition among the 48 teams.

They explained that the establishment of the championship comes in fulfillment and in memory of the sacrifices of the martyr Captain Abdullah Shara and all the martyrs of the ports who gave their lives for the sake of the homeland.
