Yemen Red Sea Ports Corporation, the Yemeni authority for Standards, Metrology and quality control, the Maritime Affairs Authority and the customs of the port of Hodeida organized, on Saturday, 18 Rajab 1446 AH, corresponding to January 18, 2025, an event to commemorate the anniversary of the first Friday of Rajab, the anniversary of Yemenis entering Islam, under the slogan "Yemeni faith identity and wisdom".

At the event, which was attended by the vice chairman of the port, Mr. Nasr Abdullah Al-nusairi, the director of the branch of the Yemeni authority for Standardization and quality control, Mr. Khalil al-jufi, and the deputy director general of customs of the port of Hodeida, Adel Abbas, the director general of legal affairs at the foundation, Mr. Motaher Al-Emadi, stressed that the celebration of Yemenis on this occasion embodies their close connection with Islam and the message of Allah though prophet Mohammed , they are those who carried the banner of religion and contributed to the spread of Islam around the globe.

He touched upon the evidence that Yemenis are proud of the message of Islam that reached them through Imam Ali , the messenger of the messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), when he met with the people of Yemen and read the message of the Holy Prophet to them and believed in him.

Al-Amadi considered Rajab Friday an occasion to promote values and principles and evoke the virtues that Yemenis are used to reviving, reviewing the signs that embody the connection of the people of Yemen with jihad for the sake of Allah after the (AWS, Khazraj and Ansar) fought heroic battles to support the religion of Allah and the message.

He stressed that the direct targeting of working cadres, infrastructure and operational equipment at Hodeida ports by the Zionist, American and British enemy, and the resulting martyrs, wounded and destruction will not stop or intimidate the employees of the port and its workers and they will face it with steadfastness, determination, defiance and determination to continue to work with dedication and sincerity until the last drop of their blood to serve the homeland and citizens.

For his part, the official of the scholars unit in the province, Sheikh Ali Somal, pointed out that the Yemeni people are keen on the identity of the faith and face the enemies of the nation, who seek to obliterate this identity, stressing that the people of Yemen cherish this religion, especially that the messenger of Allah spoke of them as the best people of the Earth and Allah will support his religion.

He explained that the Yemeni people are moving today, thanks to their wise leadership, towards returning to the historical and religious heritage, while the enemies of the nation are trying to distance them from their loyalty and belonging to the faith identity.

For his part, Sheikh Darwish Al-Wafi pointed out that the Yemeni people are celebrating the anniversary of Rajab Friday, to recall the entry of the people of Yemen into the religion of Allah in regiments, pointing to the blessings of Allah Almighty on the nation and the highest and best grace of Islam.

He stressed the need for the nation's vigilance and the revival of religious events and heritage that strengthen its identity and faith and consolidate its glories.

During the event, there were recitation paragraphs and a poem expressing the importance and significance of celebrating Rajab Friday.

In the city of Hodeida, on, Sunday, 12 Rajab 1446 AH, corresponding to January 12, 2025, escorting the body of the Martyr Ahmed Hadi Amin, one of the employees of the oil company, who was martyred for the crime of targeting the Zionist aggression to the port of Ras Isa last Friday.

An official funeral ceremony was held for the martyr with the participation of Minister of transport and Public Works Mr. Mohammed Ayash qahim, Deputy Governor Mohammed Halisi, chairman of Yemen Red Sea Ports Corporation Mr. Zaid Al-washlai, his deputy Nasr al-nusairi, executive director of the oil company Mohammed allakoumi, director of the company's branch in Hodeida Adnan al-jaramouzi, and a number of Port and oil company officials and employees.

The mourners condemned the continuous crimes of the Zionist entity against the workers at the ports of Hodeida, which lament among the bloody massacres practiced by this arrogant enemy against the Yemeni and Palestinian peoples.

They called on the United Nations, the international community and the International Court of justice to do their duty towards the terrorist crimes that the Yemeni people's ports have been subjected to, as they are war crimes, genocide, murder of civilians, destruction of the capabilities of the Yemeni people and starvation.

The funeral ceremony for the martyr took place after praying for him at the Al-Rida mosque, to be passed on to the rich in the cemetery of Al-khuluf in the city of Hodeida.
