Yemen Red Sea Ports Corporation condemns in the strongest terms the criminal American aggression that targeted Ras Isa oil port and the fall of dozens of martyrs and wounded, in a new terrorist crime added to the series of systematic crimes that have affected Yemen Red Sea ports since 2015.

The re-targeting of this vital port represents a flagrant and systematic violation of the components of the national economy, which the Yemeni people rely on to secure their needs of oil and fuel, which is completely contrary to international laws and charters that criminalize the violation of civilian objects and service facilities.

The port of Ras Issa has suffered serious damage as a result of the American bombing that affected this vital oil facility, and the criminal bombing resulted in the loss of martyrs and wounded among the workers, reflecting the aggression's insistence on spilling the blood of Port workers and hindering the services of this vital facility.

The targeting of this oil port, which is one of the main pillars in providing fuel to the Yemeni people, goes beyond all borders to become a full-fledged war crime, with the aim of undermining the national economy and increasing the suffering of the Yemeni people, who are exposed to continuous humanitarian repercussions due to the aggression and blockade that has been going on for ten years.

Yemen Red Sea Ports Corporation, expressing its condemnation of this American attack, which is added to the series of systematic crimes against the Yemeni people, holds the United States fully responsible for the deliberate and continuous destruction of Yemen Red Sea ports to cripple their operational capabilities, cause the suspension of navigation traffic, affect commercial activity and multiply the suffering of the Yemeni people.

Hodeida Port confirms that its commercial civilian ports comply with the international port security system and are subject to constant and periodic visits by the United Nations mission, the redeployment Committee and United Nations organizations on a permanent and continuous basis and do not pose a threat to anyone.

The port calls on the international community and human rights organizations to shoulder their responsibilities towards these terrorist crimes that affect the interests and sources of life of the Yemeni people, and stresses the need to hold the perpetrators of this crime accountable.

Yemen Red Sea ports Corporation also calls on the United Nations to play its role and assume its legal and moral responsibilities in protecting civilian ports that comply with all international regulations governing the operation of seaports ... The port affirms that, despite the systematic targeting, it will continue to uphold its legitimate right to continue working and fulfilling its national duty, and that this aggression will only increase its steadfastness, steadfastness and determination to thwart the bets of the aggressors.
