Yemen Red Sea Ports Corporation launched the training program for Training of Trainers (TOT) to prepare specialized trainers in the maritime, engineering and administrative fields with 50 training hours, which will last for two weeks.

The training program includes many axes, including providing the participants with the skills and capabilities in identifying training needs and identifying the difference between training, teaching and learning, how to build and prepare the training package, the basics and principles of training, training communication skills and effective communication, by dividing the participants into working groups to apply the knowledge and skills they learn in the program.

The training sessions include many practical applications that the participants implement through working groups in order to provide them with the necessary skills and build their capabilities.

The program is considered a core for preparing trainers in Yemen Red Sea Ports Corporation in the administrative, engineering and maritime field.

The participants in the training program expressed their gratitude for this administrative and institutional orientation by the leadership of the corporation represented by Captain / Mohammad Abu Bakr Ishaq, Chairman of the Board and Mr / Zaid Ahmed Al-Washali, Vice Chairman of the Board and all those in charge of the training process, including trainers and staff.

On Monday, 6-6-2022 a meeting in Sana'a, headed by the Minister of Transport Abdel Wahab Al-Durra, discussed the development and modernization plans of Yemen Red Sea Ports Corporation for the current year.

The meeting, was attended by the Chairman of the YRSPC Corporation, Captain Mohammad Abu Bakr Ishaq, reviewed the projects implemented and under implementation within the national vision in the second phase, especially with regard to the development of the port of Hodeida and its necessary needs.

In the meeting, the Minister of Transport praised the role of Yemen Red Sea Ports Corporation and its efforts in providing services to the Yemeni people through the strategic port of Hodeida, stressing that the port provides its services in a professional and impartial manner.

The Chairman of Yemen Red Sea Ports Corporation reviewed the challenges and difficulties facing the work and tasks of the Corporation.

He stressed that Hodeida port is working with all its energy with high efficiency, technical and professional cadres and expertise in the field of maritime navigation,despite the systematic destruction of its equipment and devices that are important to the port’s work.
