On Wednesday, 2/3/1444 AH, the Chairman of the Corporation, Captain Mohammad Abu Bakr Ishaq, was briefed on the maintenance work of the marine pontoons in the slipway in the port of Hodeida according to the maintenance plan for the year 1444 AH.

Captain Ishaq listened from the Director General of Technical Affairs, Eng. Fahd Al-Jaboubi, to a detailed explanation of what had been accomplished and implemented in terms of the maintenance plan for the equipment and mechanisms of the Corporation for the year 1443 AH.

Captain Ishaq directed to redouble efforts and complete the completion of maintenance work for machinery and equipment according to the maintenance plan in coordination with the concerned departments.

He stressed the keenness of the leadership of the Corporation to provide the requirements for maintenance work according to what is available in the local market as a result of the continued siege of the countries of aggression and to prevent the entry of spare parts to maintain equipment and mechanisms and increase their lifespan.

The General Administration of Technical Affairs valued the support and interest of the Corporation leadership for the maintenance programs implemented by the Department for the Corporation's equipment and mechanisms for the current year 1444 AH.

Accompanied during the visit, Director General of Planning and Statistics, Dr. Waddah Majmal, and Deputy Director General of the Office Mr, Akram Ramadani.

On Wednesday, 2 /3/ 1444 AH, a meeting chaired by the Chairman of the Board of the Corporation, Captain Mohammad Abu Bakr Ishaq, discussed a number of tenders for purchase orders for spare parts due to the necessity of continuing the operational process of the equipment and machinery operating in the Corporation.

The meeting reviewed the procedures for opening envelopes for a number of tenders, analysis reports, technical, financial and legal evaluation and recommendations for each tender, and a number of them were approved to meet all conditions.

The Chairman of the Board valued the efforts of the committee and the cooperation of everyone in choosing the best specifications for those tenders to preserve the equipment and mechanisms of the institution and to ensure the continuity of its work efficiently. He also directed the completion of the technical procedures for those tenders.

The meeting was attended by members of the main tender committee in the corporation, director general of planning and statistics, Dr. Wadah Majmal, director general of purchase and stores, engineer Ahmed Salem, director general of financial affairs, Mr. Mohamed Hassan, director general of internal audit, Mr. Nasser Ayoub, secretary of the committee, director general of the office of the chairman, Mr.Nabil Al-Muzjaji, head of the specification committee, advisor to the chairman of the board, Mr. Jamal Radman and Director General of Technical Affairs Fahd Al-Jaboubi.
