On Wednesday 1-5-2022, A meeting, held in Sana'a chaired by the Minister of Transport, MR/Abdul Wahab Yahya Al-Durra, discussed the matrix of strategic service and economic projects for the various transport sectors included in the national vision for the second phase (2021-2025)

The meeting reviewed the report of the first quarter of the current year 2022, the level of achievement of the implemented projects and ongoing projects in the bodies and institutions affiliated with the ministry, and the challenges that prevented the implementation of stopped projects.

The meeting decided to set a day out of each week to present the projects of each corporation , institution and body separately to assess the level of achievement and the difficulties facing the implementation of any projects included in the national vision.

In the meeting, the Minister of Transport stressed the importance of focusing on qualitative strategic projects that acquire economic importance and have a quality service for the country and the citizen

He said, "The President of the Supreme Political Council is following up on the level of implementation of projects and the actual percentages of their implementation on the ground.

The Minister of Transport  Al-Durra affirmed the ministry's interest in evaluating the completion rates for the projects of the bodies and institutions affiliated with it, pointing out that the transport sector is gaining qualitative importance in terms of the services it provides.

He urged the continuation of the process of development, modernization and rehabilitation and keeping pace with the new in the fields of land, air and sea transport through programs and studies.

The Deputy Minister of Transport, Mohammad Al-Hashemi, pointed to the importance of taking responsibility in implementing projects and raising problems and difficulties on a timely basis.

He said, "The leadership of the ministry will work with all its energy to solve problems and overcome difficulties for the public interest".

He stressed, "the importance of training, rehabilitation and developing human capabilities in the various fields of transportation, because the aggression is doomed and will fail.

While the head of the main executive unit of the National Vision at the Ministry of Transport, Eng. Nazir Al-Dabai, reviewed the projects of the bodies and institutions affiliated with the implementing ministry and the percentages of completion during the first quarter of the current year 2022.

In turn, the head of the General Authority for Regulating Land Transport Affairs, Walid Al-Waadi, the Undersecretary for Maritime and Ports Affairs, Khaled Al-Namr, the Undersecretary of the General Authority for Civil Aviation and Meteorology, Raed Jabal, and the Director General of the Maritime Affairs Branch, Salah Al-Wazir, reviewed the projects that have been implemented, are under implementation and are stalled.
