Yemen Red Sea Ports Corporation condemns the repeated targeting of the Israeli enemy to the ports of Hodeida and Ras Issa

Yemen Red Sea Ports Corporation condemns in the strongest terms the resumption of the Zionist aggression targeting the ports of Hodeida and Ras Issa this evening, and the damage to their vital facilities, which resulted in a martyr and a number of injured.

The corporation condemns the international silence towards the Israeli enemy's persistence in targeting and bombing the vital ports of the corporation again in clear violation of international law and its charters, which criminalize targeting civilian objects that are indispensable to peoples such as ports and calls for their preservation.

The Port considers that the return of the Israeli enemy's systematic entity to bomb the port of Hodeida and the service facilities operating in it and the port of Ras Issa, a war crime that should not be tolerated, indicating that these ports are still suffering from the repercussions of previous raids that resulted in the destruction of bridge Gantry cranes, and damage to infrastructure in the docks and yards of the port of Hodeida.

The corporation holds the United Nations and the concerned organizations fully responsible for their silence and failure to condemn this criminal and systematic bombing of the foundation's ports, which has humanitarian repercussions and an increase in the suffering of the Yemeni people.

The corporation expresses its indignation at the violations suffered by the corporation's ports, which represent an extension of the bombing and destruction suffered during the past years, in addition to the blockade and illegal restrictions imposed on the activity of ports.

Hodeida port confirms that this targeting will not discourage its ports from providing services to all ships loaded with goods and oil derivatives, which they visit as the main artery that the Yemeni people do not need.

The port warns of the seriousness of these violations and the threat they pose to the interests of the Yemeni people, calling on the United Nations and its affiliated organizations to shoulder their responsibilities towards these threats and violations, and to protect port services in accordance with international humanitarian law and customary charters, including the four Geneva Conventions and the protocols thereto, which criminalize targeting vital facilities and civilian objects.
