Qahim, Al-Bishri and the leadership of Yemen Red Sea Ports Corporation Inspect the Work at the port of Hodeida

The governor of Hodeida, Mr.Mohammed Qahim, and the first deputy of the province, Ahmed Al-Bishri, inspected on Tuesday, 23-7-2024, the progress of work and the smoothness of activity at the port of Hodeida, which was targeted by the Israeli aggression last Saturday with a number of raids.

Together with the chairman of Yemen Red Sea Ports Corporation, Mr. Zeid al-washali, and his deputy, Mr. Nasr al-nusairi, they reviewed the operational process of the port and its facilities and the smooth performance of the movement of ships entering and unloading cargo.

They, along with the director general of the Environmental Protection Authority branch in the governorate, Mr. Abdulqader yaghnem, the dean of the College of Marine Sciences, Dr. Arif Al-Saghir, and the environmental team, were briefed on the effects of the raids left by the bombing of aggression and efforts to remove waste from a number of docks of the port.

During the visit, Qahim and Al-Bishri praised the efforts of Yemen Red Sea Ports Corporation and its role in avoiding the effects of the Zionist aggression and resuming work activity at the port within 24 hours after the raids it was subjected to.

They stressed the keenness of the local authority to support the efforts of the corporation and work to take all measures and remedies to ensure the sustainability of the work of the port of Hodeida and enhance its service activity to meet the interests of the Yemeni people.
