A Joint Meeting of A (Shura Council) Discusses the Obstacles Facing the Transport Sector

A joint meeting of the Shura Council, chaired by Deputy Chairman of the Shura Council Mohammed Al-Durra, discussed the obstacles facing the transport sector and ways to address them.

The meeting, which included the rapporteur of the local authority and Services Committee in the council, Salah al-dobaibi, a number of council members, the undersecretary of the Ministry of transport, Abdullah Al-Ansi, the head of the General Authority of Civil Aviation and meteorology, Dr. Mohammed Abdulkader, and the chairman of Yemen Red Sea Ports Corporation, Mr. Zaid Al-washli, reviewed the topics related to the committee's report on the current situation of the transport sector.

At the meeting, the deputy chairman of the Shura Council stressed the importance of the transport sector in the process of economic development.

He praised the efforts of the Ministry of transport and its affiliated bodies and institutions, despite the restrictions imposed by the aggression and the blockade on airports and ports.

He pointed out the importance of concerted efforts to find ways to overcome all the difficulties facing this vital sector in proportion to the available possibilities and requirements of the stage.

Al-dobaibi stressed that the committee is working on preparing an integrated report on the transport sector and the difficulties it faces under the aggression and siege, which will include recommendations for appropriate remedies.
