Discussion of Insurance Aspects for Employees of Yemen Red Sea Ports Corporation

A meeting was held at the port of Hodeida under the chairmanship of Mr .Nasr Abdullah Al-Nusairi, vice chairman of Yemen Red Sea Ports Corporation, on 21-4-2024 to discuss aspects of coordination between the corporation and the General Authority for insurance and Pensions.

The meeting, which included the director general of the insurance and Pensions Authority in the governorate Mr. Bassam Al-Sharmani, discussed the mechanism of enhancing cooperation with regard to linking the pension cases of all insured employees of the corporation for the year 2016 to 2022, at the General Insurance Authority.

The meeting touched upon the previous agreements between the corporation and the authority and the insurance plan for employees in accordance with these agreements and the procedures followed, and the indebtedness of the corporation to the authority and addressing all obstacles to ensure the preservation of the insurance rights of career cadres.

The meeting was attended by the director of insurance Revenue, Mr. AbdulRahman Mohammed, the financial director of insurance, Adel al-Rubai, the head of the insurance revenue department, Hassan al-Jamali, and on the part of the institution, the directors general of the Office of the chairman of the board of directors, Ali al-Ansi, Human Resources, Ahmed Atta, Financial Affairs, Abdullah Harba and audit, Nasser Ayoub, and the insurance officer of the corporation, Hazza Al-Bazzaz.

After that, the deputy chairman of the board of Yemen Red Sea Ports Corporation, Mr. Nasr al-Nusairi, visited the central workshop at Hodeida port in the framework of evaluating performance, technical and field works and following up on their outputs.

During the visit, he was briefed on the work carried out by the workshop and its departments and departments from carpentry, aluminum, plumbing and turning works to equipment and mechanisms for the operational movement of the port of Hodeida.

Al-Nusairi noted the achievements of the various technical workshops at the Ports Corporation in order to be self-sufficient from the works they carry out without resorting to external workshops, works and tenders that entail high costs.

During the visit, he was accompanied by the deputy director general of technical affairs at the institution, Eng.Abdul Wahid al-saafani, the general managers of the Office of the chairman of the board, Mr. Ali al-Ansi, Berth and squares, captain Gamdan Muharram, and the director of the Office of the deputy chairman of the board, Ahmed Hatem Tamer.
