A Meeting Chaired by the Ministers of Transport and Petroleum, they Discussed the Conditions and Activities of Yemen Red Sea Ports Corporation and the Two Branches of the Oil and Gas Companies in Hodeida

On Tuesday 11-01-1444 AH a meeting held at Yemen Red Sea Ports Corporation in the port of Hodeida headed by the Minister of Transport, General /Abdulwahab Al-Durra and the Minister of Petroleum Mr. Ahmed Daris, discussed, the situation of the ports of the Corporation and the two oil and gas companies - Hodeida branches, and the mechanism of their continuation of their activities in light of the aggression and the brutal US-Saudi blockade.

The meeting, was attended by the Deputy Minister of Transport, Mohammad Al-Hashemi, the Chairman of Yemen Red Sea Ports Corporation, Captain Mohammad Abu Bakr Ishaq, and the two deputy executive directors of the two companies, the oil company  Eng. Nasser Ahmad Habtoor and the Gas company Mr. Mohammad Ahmad al-Qadimi to the most prominent needs and difficulties facing the workflow.

In the meeting, the Ministers of Transport and Petroleum referred to the importance of coordination and development of work in the various units and institutions affiliated with the ports, Petroleum and minerals sectors as one of the most important economic sectors in the country.

They stressed the keenness to provide the necessary facilities to contribute to addressing the difficulties facing the activities of the corporation and the two companies to ensure the continuation of providing their services to citizens and alleviating their suffering as a result of the continued aggression and siege.

The Ministers of Transport and Petroleum, praised the efforts of the leadership of Yemen Red Sea Ports Corporation and the two Yemeni oil and gas companies, Hodeida branches, and workers in maintaining the performance of the Corporation and the two companies in light of the continued aggression and siege.

They explained that the meeting comes within the tasks of the leaderships of the two ministries to examine the conditions and activities of their affiliated sectors to ensure activating the role of the Corporation and the two companies and developing their performance in the coming stages.

The Chairman of Yemen Red Sea Ports Corporation, Captain Mohammad Abu Bakr Ishaq and the Executive Vice-Presidents of the two oil and gas companies reviewed the general situation of the Corporation and the two companies in light of the siege of the ongoing aggression.

Appreciating the support and cooperation of the Ministers of Transport and Petroleum in facilitating the work of the Corporation and the two branches of the two companies in Hodeida.

The meeting was attended by the directors of the oil and gas companies in Hodeida, Mr.Adnan Al-Jarmozi, and the gas company, Mr.Mohammad Shaalal, the vice Chairman of the corporation, Zaid Ahmed Al-Washli, the directors of the office of the head of the corporation, Mr.Nabil Omar Al-Mizjajy, and the general departments of the corporation, the two oil and gas companies, and a number of officials of the relevant authorities.

In addition, The Ministers of Transport and Petroleum, along with The Chairman of Yemen Red Sea Ports Corporation, visited the port of Hodeida and reviewed the mechanism of unloading relief and oil ships arriving at the port berths.

We valued Al-Durra and studied the corporation's tangible efforts in providing facilities for the entry of fuel and food ships, despite the blockade that the port suffers from by the aggression's countries .
