On February 19, 1444 Three training courses in the field of behavioral and leadership skills development, job analysis and description, and preparation of reports and research were concluded, at the Training Center for Workers in Hodeida Port.

The courses aimed at providing 47 department heads and employees from various departments with the skills of strategic planning, negotiation, persuasion, influence, problem solving and decision-making, and how to job description in a systematic and scientific manner, preparing reports and the steps required to write them.

In conclusion, the Director General of Human Resources at the corporation Mr. Ahmed Mohamed Atta, pointed out the importance of the courses in improving the performance of the departments. He called on the participants to apply the contents of the courses to the practical reality.

He valued the support and keenness of the corporation's leadership to organize and establish such courses and training programs to enhance the capabilities of employees in line with modern requirements and in accordance with the plans of the national vision to build the modern Yemeni state.

The words of the participants in the courses indicated the importance of the courses and the knowledge and science they contained that help enhance their work skills, improve performance levels and flexibility in implementation.

The Ministry of Transport and its affiliated bodies and institutions in Sana’a launched the New Year 1444 plan for the projects, programs and activities of the national vision for building the modern Yemeni state.

During the inauguration, which was attended by the Undersecretaries of the Ministry of Transport for the various sectors, the head of the Land Transport Regulatory Authority Walid Al-Wadai’i, the Vice Chairman of Yemen Red Sea Ports Corporation Mr. Zaid Al-Washli, the Director of the Maritime Affairs Authority in Sana’a Salah Al-Wazir and Hodeida Ibrahim Al-Mushki and the heads and members of the main and sub-units of the transport sector,

Deputy Prime Minister for National Vision Affairs Mahmoud Al-Junaid affirmed the interest and interaction of the Ministry of Transport and its bodies and institutions with the path of the national vision since its launch in 2019, as it was the first and highly interactive in the installation of the national vision.

Al-Junaid said, "In 2019-2020, we began to develop a simple plan at the level of all state institutions as a beginning to implement the national vision, and in 2020-2021 we worked in the Executive Office of the National Vision with all ministries in analyzing the current situation at the institutional, sectoral and macro levels."

He pointed out that the Executive Office of the National Vision works with all executive units in ministries and government institutions to implement projects, plans and programs, as well as to solve problems and difficulties through reports submitted to the office, in a way that contributes to achieving tangible successes on the ground.

Meanwhile, Deputy Prime Minister for Services and Development Affairs, Dr. Hussein Makbouli, praised the distinguished efforts made by the leadership of the Ministry of Transport and its affiliated bodies and institutions in implementing the directives and guidelines emanating from the national vision and its executive mechanism.

He said, "The transport sector is one of the distinguished service sectors that provides its various services to the citizen, which contributes to alleviating suffering and alleviating burdens on them despite the aggression, siege and direct systematic destruction that this vital and important sector has been exposed to."

He referred to the Ministry of Transport and its affiliated bodies and institutions working to implement its projects in coordination with the services and social solidarity sector in terms of preparing priority plans and studies for important self-financed service projects such as rehabilitating Sana’a International Airport, Hodeida Port and other government-funded projects.

Minister of Transport Mr. Abdul Wahab Al-Durra affirmed moving forward with the implementation of projects and economic studies of the highest priority that would achieve successes and strategic objectives for the advancement of the land, sea and air transport sectors.

He pointed out the importance of qualitative strategic projects that will be implemented during the new (Hijri) year, some of which are self-financed and the other governmental, noting that the transport sector's strategic projects depend on careful methodological studies and work in them with utmost technicality as service projects for all segments of Yemeni society.

Meanwhile, Deputy Minister of Transport, Mohammad Al-Hashemi, explained that the launch of the new year plan 1444 for transport projects in its various sectors is a translation of the directives of the Supreme Political Council in a number of important tracks that contribute to alleviating and raising the suffering of the Yemeni citizen.

He pointed out that the Ministry of Transport and its affiliated bodies and institutions are seeking through its current plan to improve services and advance its various sectors, adding that development and modernization will only take place through concerted efforts and joint cooperation, starting from the top to the bottom.

The head of the main executive unit of the transport sector, Eng. Nazir Al-Dabai, reviewed the 37 projects that will be implemented in the fields of air, sea and land transport, some of which are self-financing from the bodies and institutions of the Ministry of Transport and other projects with government funding.

During the inauguration, the two Deputy Prime Ministers for National Vision, Services and Development Affairs and the Minister of Transport honored the heads of the bodies, institutions and sub-units of the National Vision with certificates of appreciation for what they achieved during the last period.

The inauguration was attended by the Corporation, Vice Chairman of the Board, Mr. Zaid Al-Washali, Head of the Sub-Executive Unit, Director General of Planning and Statistics at the Corporation, Dr. Waddah Majmal, Member of the Sub-Executive Unit, Eng. Muhammad Al-Saafani, Member of the Sub-Executive Unit, Eng. Hussein Gharamah, Rapporteur of the Sub-Executive Unit Mr. Abdulelah Al-Wasabi, and Director of the Marketing and Media Department Sadiq Farhan.
