On Wednesday morning 4-22-1444 AH a meeting at the headquarter of Yemen Red Sea Ports Corporation, which included the chairmen of the board of the Corporation, Captain Mohammad Abu Bakr bin Ishaq and Mr. Ibrahim Al-Houthi, the Agricultural Cooperative Credit Bank, discussed a mechanism for enhancing cooperation and coordination between the corporation and the bank.

The meeting touched on the positive results achieved during the last period, especially after the agreement signed between the two parties to upgrade joint business paths to the required level and simplify procedures for providing services to the Corporation and its employees.

At the meeting, Captain Ishaq praised the bank's development and modernization in the banking field, which made it today one of the most important and largest national banks.

He appreciated the role of those in charge of it despite the difficulties and challenges the bank went through, as well as the role of the human cadre in maintaining the competitive advantages of the bank, especially in providing quality banking services in accordance with the latest technologies.

He expressed his hope that the corporation's urgent and necessary needs would be a priority for the bank, given the nature of the corporation's exceptional work in serving the people of the country as a result of the continued aggression and siege.

While the Chairman of the Bank's reviewed the modern banking services through the most important advantages that were recently invented by developing the financial payments settlement system, which is a qualitative addition to the Bank's electronic banking services.

He discussed on the developments achieved by the bank and the comprehensiveness of the services that were provided and their relevance to most segments of society in all governorates.

He pointed out the bank's readiness to support the Foundation's efforts in accordance with the systems currently available, enabling it to enhance its humanitarian and relief service performance.

The meeting was attended by general managers of the office of the Chairman Board of the Corporation, Mr. Nabil Omar Al-Mezjaji, and the Departments of Legal Affairs, Mr.Mutahar Al-Amdi, and the Departments of Financial Affairs, Mr.Muhammad Hassan.

On Wednesday 01/04/1444 AH, a meeting held at the headquarters of Yemen Red Sea Ports Corporation chaired by the Minister of Transport, General Abdul-Wahhab Yahya Al-Durra, discussed the mechanisms for implementing the organization’s implementation of the matrix of executive procedures for the directives of the leader of the revolution and the head of the Supreme Political Council in the framework of activating the work of government agencies and upgrading Its performance included seven centers:

  • • Sensing responsibility and honesty in all aspects.
  • • Training and qualification of state cadres in the field of faith and providing them with the necessary skills and experience.
  • • Paying attention to performance appraisal that helps develop performance and avoid deficiencies.
  • • Job discipline.
  • • Paying attention to services and development.
  • • Activating community initiatives and benefiting from it in the service aspect and the development aspect.
  • • Paying attention to agriculture, especially wheat.

The meeting, which included the Chairman of the corporation, Captain Mohammad Abu Bakr bin Ishaq, and the general managers of the corporation's departments, reviewed the main points in the directions of the Leader and Chairman of the Supreme Political Council on evaluation, development and coordination of the institutional performance of the Foundation and its affiliated facilities.

He spoked on the problems and obstacles facing public administrations and their employees and the proposed solutions to address them.

The meeting also reviewed the mechanism for developing and modernizing work in its various fields, improving performance, and developing the skills, capabilities and competencies of employees in the institution.

At the meeting, Minister Al-Durra stressed the importance of the directives of the leader of the revolution and the head of the Supreme Political Council and working to translate them in the context of the various tasks of the corporation's  sectors.

He stressed the necessity of upgrading and developing the administrative and technical performance of the Corporation's ports, working in a team spirit in performance and discipline, and developing the performance and qualification system and training on the various tracks and levels of departments to achieve a qualitative leap added to the balance of successes and achievements made by the Corporation.

He pointed out that the coming period will witness an evaluation of the level of performance in all institutions and bodies affiliated with the Ministry, stressing the importance of everyone being up to the challenge and responsibility entrusted to them.

 He called on all departments of the corporation to quickly submit progress reports, plans and current and future projects, in line with the development in various fields.

 Pointing out that the ministry will spare no effort in providing all facilities to the leadership of the institution and its employees.

 Captain Ishaq affirmed the corporation’s keenness to accommodate the directives of the Leader of the Revolution and the President of the Supreme Political Council and to focus on projects related to the national vision, maintenance of the institution’s equipment and mechanisms, and the development of infrastructure according to what is available and in line with the service and development aspirations that the revolutionary and political leadership aspire to.

 The meeting came out with a number of important recommendations that will work to develop the performance of the institution and to serve its clients and to avoid shortcomings.
