Al-Wahbani and Bin Habtoor, along with the Deputy Prime Minister for National Vision Affairs, Mahmoud Al-Junaid, Services and Development, Dr. Hussein Maqbouli, Ministers of Transport Abdul-Wahhab Al-Durra, Minister of Culture Abdullah Al-Kibsi, and Governor of Hodeida Mr. Mohammad Qahim briefed the damage to the port as a result of the aggression and siege.

During the visit, on the sidelines of which a press conference was held, the Prime Minister affirmed that the National Salvation Government is working diligently and continuously to implement the directives of the Leader of the Revolution, Lord. Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, and the President of the Supreme Political Council, Field Marshal/Mahdi al-Mashat, related to activating joint work between state agencies and components of society to achieve local development. sustainable in all administrative units.

He pointed out that Hodeida suffered a lot and witnessed difficult and critical years of escalation and direct targeting by the aggression.

He pointed out that the steadfastness of the people of Hodeida in the face of aggression is referred to today as Lebanon, and history will record it in its brightest pages, as this loyal and steadfast city embraced its benevolent sons, the port of Hodeida, which, despite the brutal barbaric siege to which it is exposed, was able, over eight years, to supply about 30-35 million A number of Yemenis are able to provide most of the regions with basic materials and cover their needs of the necessary requirements.

Dr. Bin Habtoor expressed his thanks for the efforts of those in charge of the Ministry of Transport, the Red Sea Ports Corporation and the local authority in continuing the operational process despite the difficulties that the aggression put in place, including the bombing of cranes and the prevention of the entry of spare parts.

He stressed the government's keenness to support the institution and provide the necessary facilities for it to be able to continue providing its indispensable services to the Yemeni people.

He praised the bravery and steadfastness of the employees of the Corporation and the port and their fulfillment of their duties and their sense of responsibility.

 "It is hard to imagine if he had closed this only gate," he said.

At the conference at the berth, the Minister of Transport called for lifting the siege on the port of Hodeida in a comprehensive and complete manner.

He also called on the United Nations to quickly provide the port with cranes, "bridge cranes" instead of those that were bombed in mid-August 2015 AD by the US-Saudi aggression, which led to the cessation of the port's operational process and the handling of containers, and coincided with the bombing of Hodeida airport and other ports.

Minister Al-Durra stressed the need to allow the entry of container ships, which the aggression insists on preventing from entering the port of Hodeida until today.

He explained that the aggression focused largely and mainly on targeting Yemeni ports and airports to put them out of service in a great aggression and arbitrariness practiced by the aggression against the Yemeni people with all arrogance.

Stressing that the time has come to lift the siege on the port of Hodeida and Sana'a airport, and to stop the arbitrary practices against the Yemeni people.

Appreciating the interest of the revolutionary and political leadership and their keenness and follow-up on the port's conditions and work to develop work and improve its services.

In the conference, in the presence of the Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation, Ibrahim Al-Hamli, the Deputy Minister of Local Administration, Dr. Qassem Al-Hamran, the Senior Undersecretary of Hodeida Governorate, Ahmed Al-Bishri, the Undersecretary of the Governorate, Abdul-Jabbar Ahmed Muhammad, and the Commander of the Coastal Defense Brigade, Major General Muhammad Al-Qadri, the head of Yemen Red Sea Ports Corporation Captain Mohammad Abu Bakr bin Ishaq, the damages suffered by the Corporation and the economic and commercial role played by the Corporation’s ports in reviving commercial movement and the entry of various materials and commodities after their commitment to the standards and conditions of the port systems.

 He pointed to the efforts made by the Corporation, which is considered one of the most important national economic institutions that work with all its capabilities to serve the country.

Captain Ishaq confirmed that the aggression's attempts to disrupt the port as an economic and vital facility for the homeland contradict all international norms and laws, noting that it had failed, along with an attempt to bring the Yemeni people to their knees.

Pointing out that the port of Hodeida, with the efforts of the loyal cadres, was able to continue its service and economic role.

He pointed out that the Corporation was able, during the last period, to face all challenges with determination, persistence, and reception of various ships, despite the targeting of cranes and incubators by aggression.

He stressed that it requires the state at the current stage to provide adequate support for the institution to be able to perform its service and humanitarian tasks, pointing out that most of the equipment and machinery are in dire need of maintenance.

On Sunday, 3-5-1444 AH, the Chairman of the Board of the Corporation, Captain Mohammad Abu Bakr Ishaq, briefed on the maintenance work for marine tag boats in the port of Hodeida, which are ongoing at the slipway, according to the maintenance plan for the Hijri year 1444 AH.

Captain Ishaq listened to a detailed explanation from the Director General of Technical Affairs, Eng. Fahd Al-Jaboubi, on the work carried out from the maintenance plan for equipment and machinery for the year 1444 AH.

Ishaq praised the efforts made by the engineers and technicians of the Technical, Maritime and Safety Department in maintaining the institution's equipment and mechanisms and maintaining their readiness to work around the clock in light of the current conditions the country is going through and the continued prevention of entry of spare parts by the forces of aggression.

Ishaq praised, directed to redouble efforts and complete the completion of all maintenance works according to the plan prepared and in coordination with the concerned departments by setting a timetable for those works.

Stressing the keenness of the Corporation's leadership to provide the requirements for maintenance work according to what is available in the local market as a result of the continued blockade of the countries of aggression and their prevention of the entry of spare parts to preserve equipment and machinery and increase their lifespan.

The General Administration of Technical Affairs appreciated the support and interest of the corporation's leadership in the maintenance programs implemented by the administration.

During the visit, he was accompanied by the Director General of Planning and Statistics, Dr. Waddah Mojamal, the Director General of Purchases and Warehouses, Engineer Ahmed Salem Abdullah, the Director General of Marine Operations, Captain Mohammad Al-Sayes, the Director General of Safety and Industrial Security, Engineer Bandar Sharah,
