The Head of Yemen Red Sea Ports Corporation Inspects the Operational Process with Marine Pontoons and the Berths of Hodeida port

On Tuesday 6-3-1444 AH, equal to 12-27-2022 AD, the head of Yemen Red Sea Ports Corporation, Captain Mohammad Abu Bakr bin Ishaq, inspected the commercial berths and marine pontoons in the port of Hodeida.
Captain Mohammad, listened from the Director General of Maritime Operations at the Corporation, Captain Mohammad Al-Sayes, and the Director General of Technical Affairs, Eng. Fahd Al-Jaboubi, to an overview of the movement and the operational process that exists around the clock in the port berths, and the mechanisms for receiving and transporting ships loaded with basic materials, oil derivatives and humanitarian aid, and the needs that need to be provided. For the operational process, including the bridge cranes of the container terminal, which was targeted by the aggression’s warplanes, directly and deliberately, to stop the port’s activity, in addition to the spare parts that the aggression forces prevent the entry of a number of operational mechanisms and equipment into the port.
The head of the corporation, stressed that the continued intransigence of the countries of aggression to prevent the import of spare parts represents a real and serious threat to the port and warns that its activity will stop during the coming period, in addition to the port's need to provide new mechanisms to replace those destroyed by the aggression.
The Chairman of the Corporation, appreciated the efforts of all port workers, stressing the need to redouble efforts and work in the spirit of one team, in a manner that guarantees overcoming the challenges of the current stage.
