On Thursday, 6/19/1444 AH corresponding to 12/1-2023 AD, in the training hall in Hodeida Port, conclude the activities of the training course in government projects management according to the national vision methodology and professional projects management.

The session organized by the Corporation, under the sponsors of the Ministry of Transport and the Executive Office of the National Vision over six days, was aimed at 35 participants from the cadres of the technical, engineering and administrative institution skills, principles and basics of projects identifying, managing and planning projects and how to follow them according to the methodology of national vision and international standards.

In the conclusion, the head of Yemen Red Sea Ports Corporation, captain, Mohammad Abu Bakr bin Ishaq, in the presence of the Deputy Executive Director of Commercial Affairs of the Yemeni Oil Company, Dr. Rami Hanab, pointed to the importance of these courses that are carried out in coordination with the Ministry of Transport and the Executive Office of the National Vision aimed at developing work in the corporation properly and correctly .

The head of the support and assistance unit at the Executive Office of the National Vision, the session trained, Mr.Mohammed Khaled Al -Bazli, called on the participants to the optimal benefit from the axes of the course and their application in the practical reality to achieve the desired goals in various executive and administrative levels of projects in the institution's ports according to the goals of the national vision.

Also, the head of the executive unit of the National Vision at the Ministry of Transport, Mr. Nazir Al -Dubai, expressed his thanks for the leadership of the corporation for providing all support, support and facilities for the success of the training course activities, wishing to apply what the participants met in the field of work.

The closing activities were attended by the capabilities official in the executive unit of the National Vision at the Ministry of Transport, Fouad Al -Hadi, and the head of the sub -executive unit of the National Vision at the corporation, Dr. Waddah Mojamal.

On Wednesday 4-6-1444 AH, corresponding to 12-28-2022 AD, The Board of Directors of Yemen Red Sea Ports Corporation discussed, in its meeting today, via the “Zoom Video” live broadcast technology, headed by the Minister of Transport, Major General Abdul Wahhab Yahya Al-Durra, the level of performance of the Corporation, and the evaluation of its financial position for the third quarter of The year is 2022 AD.

The meeting reviewed the mechanism for implementing the decisions of the Board of Directors, and aspects related to plans, activities, programs and strategic projects to rehabilitate and modernize the corporation's ports within the framework of the national vision for building the modern Yemeni state.

The Minister of Transport stressed the importance of translating the directions of the leadership of the revolution and the political leadership in line with the national vision for building the modern Yemeni state, pointing out the need for the departments' plans and programs to contribute to achieving positive indicators in light of the repercussions of the continued aggression and siege.

The meeting, in the presence of the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance for the Economic Units Sector, Dr. Akram Al-Washli, listened to a report from the Chairman of the Corporation, Captain Mohammad Abu Bakr bin Ishaq, about the achievements made by the Corporation and its continuation in serving the humanitarian aspects and providing basic foodstuffs to the Yemeni people despite the challenges and difficulties it faces.

He expressed his hope that the institution's urgent and necessary needs, which were submitted to the Council of Ministers, would receive attention and priority, given the nature of the Corporation's exceptional work in serving the people of the country as a result of the continued aggression and siege.

Captain Ishaq, stressed the importance of government support for the Corporation and providing the necessary facilities for it to be able to continue its work in providing its indispensable services to the Yemeni people.

He pointed out that most of the equipment and mechanisms are in urgent need of maintenance and the purchase of new equipment, including marine boats for towing and guidance, and other necessary equipment and mechanisms, not to mention the bridge cranes that were destroyed by the aggression and prevented from entering spare parts.

The meeting, in the presence of the Corporation’s Vice President, Mr. Zaid Ahmed Al-Washli, and members of the Board of Directors, appreciated the keenness of the Ministers of Finance and Transport to adopt the matrix of emergency and necessary needs for the Corporation’s ports.

The meeting praised the efforts of the leadership and employees of Yemen Red Sea Ports Corporation to continue work, in light of the US-Saudi aggression and their dedication to performing the duty entrusted to them.

He also appreciated the performance of the General Administration of Financial Affairs and its cadres in completing the financial reports according to the time period specified for them.
