The Ministry's efforts were reviewed in relation to the readiness of the ports of Hodeida and Salif, and the projects that were completed by Yemen Red Sea Ports Corporation in the port of Hodeida, in light of the United Nations' slowdown in implementing the port rehabilitation program and providing equipment that was destroyed by the aggression despite the availability of the necessary financial allocation..
He reviewed the nature of the challenges facing the Ministry and its affiliates, especially those related to ports and airports, and the solutions it resorted to to overcome these challenges, especially those related to projects aimed at advancing the status of Sana’a International Airport, and working to fulfill all technical and logistical requirements and standards specified by the Civil Aviation Organization. The developments in the airports of Sana'a, Taiz and Saada were also discussed, and the measures taken by the ministerial and technical committee headed by the Deputy Prime Minister for Defense and Security Affairs, Lieutenant General Jalal Al-Ruwaishan, to confront these encroachments.
The Prime Minister praised all the efforts made by the Ministry and its affiliated bodies and institutions, and their impact on alleviating the suffering of citizens as a result of the aggression and siege.
He pointed out that the Ministry of Transport bears a great burden during this exceptional period, which requires its support from all relevant government agencies and assistance to overcome the challenges it faces, especially the air transport sector, which continues to provide its services at the national level with impartiality, responsibility and high efficiency.
