Technicians and engineers of the Container Handling Equipment Maintenance Department at the General Administration of Technical Affairs at Yemen Red Sea Ports Corporation have completed the maintenance of a number of container handling equipment in Hodeida Port.
The Director of Container Handling Equipment Maintenance Department, Eng. Jaafar Farhan, explained that among the equipment for which maintenance work was completed is the incubator "TEREX" No. 14
He pointed out that the maintenance and packaging of the left engine for incubator No. 12, the packaging and comprehensive maintenance of the 40-ton HYSTER tongs engine, and maintenance of the 40-foot spreader No. 1, which is rented to container ships, is currently being carried out.
He pointed out that the maintenance work for these equipment comes within the activities of the annual plan prepared by the Technical Department, which targets all container handling equipment and mechanisms to preserve them, ensure their readiness and increase their lifespan.. He pointed out that the maintenance work is carried out by local cadres affiliated with the Department.
Appreciating the interest and support of the corporation's leadership for the maintenance programs implemented by the Department for the corporation's equipment and mechanisms for the current year 1444 AH.
