On Thursday 20/1/1444 the General Administration of Projects and Engineering Supervision, in cooperation with the General Department of Technical Affairs of Yemen Red Sea Ports Corporation, launched, the implementation of the second phase of the project to install rubber protection (Fenders) at Salif Port.
The Director General of Projects and Engineering Supervision at the Corporation, Engineer Eng/Sami Abdullah Maqboli, explained that the launch of the second phase of the project coincides with the work of the first phase in the port of Hodeida and the operational necessities of the Salif port.
He pointed out that the project, in its first and second phases, is implemented through the engineering and technical cadres in the two departments, according to the plan prepared by the administration, by supplying the berths in the corporation’s ports with all the necessary equipment to receive the various ships and their anchoring easily and smoothly without causing any external damages through the fenders that were supplied to the corporation’s warehouses according to the public tender. No. (5) for the year 2021.
Maqboli valued the support and keenness of the corporation's leadership in providing all the necessary requirements and needs for the two ports to enhance their service and humanitarian role for the Yemeni people.
